NEW – All patients entering Detox will receive a COVID-19 test at the time of admit. Open Access COVID testing is available daily from 10:00am-noon and 3:00-5:00pm in our Sobering Unit for patients desiring to admit to our residential programs.
You don’t have to do it alone
Breaking free of addictive chemicals isn’t easy. You need a comfortable environment, warm compassion and 24-hour monitoring. Our licensed medical professionals will guide you through the detox process in the safest way possible.
Detox is the first—and often most difficult—step toward recovery. We’ve created a comfortable, nurturing setting where you can focus on regaining wholeness. Within our warm environment, you’ll get the support you need for cleansing your body of harmful substances.
It can take up to five days to flush the chemicals from your body. During that time, you may experience unpleasant and often dangerous reactions. Professional supervision can help counter the effects of:
- Sleep disorders
- Jittery nerves
Stabilize your body safely in our medically assisted detox program. Caring hands are ready to help 24 hours a day until your body has been cleansed of addictive substances. We may prescribe medication to minimize your discomfort. The average stay is 1-5 days.
Once you attain physical stability, we’ll recommend next steps to help you continue your recovery. To encourage healing and wholeness, our acute detox program is smoke and tobacco-free.
We accept most forms of insurance—find out what your coverage includes.
We want you to be as comfortable as possible and you are probably wondering what to bring. Please review this list for allowed items.
Friends and loved ones can be of great support but don’t know quite what to expect when someone is in detox. We have compiled a very brief summary of frequently asked questions of family members. WM Family Support

“I checked myself into Detox at Lifeline Connections knowing full well that I was done. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have been a client in inpatient treatment.”
